The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion
5.0
I don't remember why I added this book to my list of books to read or why I requested it from the library, but I am glad that I did.
Don reminds me of an slightly older Sheldon Cooper (The Big Bang Theory). His personality was, I think, more developed than Sheldon's and more open to the influences of the universe. There were some aspects of the plot that were somewhat predictable (i.e. the love interest and the destination of its path), but the journey there was enjoyable and kept me wanting to read more even when I ought to have taken a break.
The ending was satisfactory, though I'm curious to see what Don will be like in the sequel, which I hope will be written very soon. The state that the story left him in sounds like it will be difficult to continue in the long run, but Don is a strong character and he does have Rosie.
