Picks of exactly right after Fable this is just as daring & adventurous. It would be nice if this was just combined into one longer book because there's not much character development here & world-building. But the plot & fast pace overlooked that all. I adore the father-daughter relationship that developed here even more. It made my heart so full reading them. I think this is the main relationship in this duology rather than the actual love interest cause I find him selfish and felt like doesn't understand Fable. I truly adore Fable-Saint-Clove relationship and I think they're the star here.
If you love swashbuckling, this is the book for you.
