I read this to decide if I would want to eventually watch the film adaptation underway by Luca Guadagnino. The short answer is, I’ve decided I would not. Though, as much as I’d like to put it out of my mind, I can’t stop enjoying the abandoned yet continued monologue scene. That was really captivating. This overall was not for me. And saying it’s about unrequited love is gross.
