First impressions of you is absolutely wonderful. I enjoyed this book from the start. Our FMC Luiza, is amazing. She’s incredibly relatable and unintentionally hilarious. Although not one to normally ignore her filter, when our MMC Winter Davis is around, she can't help herself. I love how Luiza is a flawed but real character. She messes up constantly, especially with her snap judgements about people and her thinking those judgements are right. I also love how as a character even though she’s confident in herself and her abilities, just like everyone else she also gets in her own head and her own way sometimes listening to the self doubt that creeps in. One of the things I absolutely loved is that even though the book is written from Luizás POV, the author writes things in a way where you can very clearly see what she cannot. It allows you to understand where she’s coming from but also to see most of the whole story. This story was not only a romance, but it dealt with so many other topics that really tugged on the heartstrings. I’m so happy I read this book and i can’t wait to read other works by this author.
