I went into this one a lot more hesitantly. After Crown of Gilded Bone being a bit of a slog, the high of ASITE, and then all the back and forth opinions regarding this book, I wasn't sure what to expect. HOWEVER! I did NOT expect it to be just as good, if not better, than the first book (which in my opinion is pretty much the best book of the series). This had so much action, so much movement, the relationship building between Poppy and Keiran was so sweet, and
