This book is a treasure. Morgan and Eric's story is fascinating and heartbreaking and surprisingly wonderful.

Eric is a truly great example of non-toxic masculinity. He has so much love in his heart and such a connection to Morgan that nothing else has mattered but that love and respect of Morgan.

Watching Morgan constantly choose to bury her true self down and think that maybe she just never tried to be a boy enough is so heartbreakingly real that I felt my own soul crushing.

This book does a great job of showcasing that even if you happen to have a support system it won't matter if you can't come to terms with things yourself. I hope a solid takeaway for readers who are struggling that they learn to ask for help instead of letting whatever it is eat away at you and desperately wishing someone would see you need help. PLEASE PLEASE ask for help and if you feel you can't talk to family their are so many free hotlines you can talk to someone. You are not alone no matter how easy it is to feel that way.
