Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson
5.0
3rd reread: So for some reason, I thought Eshonai was in Way of Kings and not here. This also reminds me that yes, I probably should reread Edgedancer...
2nd reread comment: Phew. Definitely needed a reread because I'd forgotten some of the finer details (like whatever Tyn was up to and some of these interludes I definitely skimmed the first time). Roshar really is a sprawling world, and the one with the most obvious Cosmere world-hopping references (so far).
Original review:
Been sitting on this for a while because I've been busy and 1000 pages is daunting. Didn't reread [b:The Way of Kings|7235533|The Way of Kings (The Stormlight Archive, #1)|Brandon Sanderson|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1388184640l/7235533._SY75_.jpg|8134945] for the same reason. Really liked this- everyone's stories finally converged, with plenty of openings for the future.
