I was super excited for the next book in the Ruinous Love Triology, and this did not disappoint!

I both listened to and read this one, and once again the audiobook was incredible. The narrators did an amazing job bringing Lark and Lachlan to life.

There’s a lot less murder and a lot more focus on character here. I really loved Lark and Lachlan as characters! I thought they both had a lot of depth to them. While I liked Lark and Lachlan, I did struggle a bit with their chemistry as a couple. It just didn’t give the tension I was expecting.. but their spicy scenes were
