I didn't think I was a lighthearted romantic book lover until I met Lily Chu. She writes in a way that draws in you. Her text is relatable and also subtly sheds light on racial iniquity and generalizations. She can weave through multiple emotions without difficulty. I can't put her books down. I look forward to the next books she will hopefully write.
