It is a new genre for me. I would never have thought before that I might read a science fiction novel.
I love classics and when I was in the library and read the description of the book that there is a scientist who made himself invisible and the village started gossiping about him while he was facing the disadvantages of invisibility.
My expectations before reading the novel were that the scientist was a good man who became invisible by accident, and he was facing the evil villagers. On the contrary, after reading the book we find out that the horror that came to the village and its creatures is the invisible man, and I say creatures because his harm was not only on people but also on animals.
The scientist was planning to be invisible and doing a lot of research to be invisible and he was thinking about how many advantages he would get by being invisible.
He stole, annoyed, manipulated, and killed with no consequences because he was invisible.
Usually, when people wish to be invisible, they think they will use it in a good way, but the novel made us realize that people will always choose to be wicked because no consequences can apply to them while they are invisible.
This novel shows how an educated scientist became a total maniac when he got the ability to hide his identity, and we can apply this to our time by looking at social media, how people hide their identity and choose to send horrible comments because they know that no one knows who is behind the comment.

The language was a little weird to me and because the science fiction is not my cup of tea I give it 2 out of 5
Did I enjoy it? a little.
Did it make me think? Yes.
Would I read it again? No.
Would I recommend it? No.
