i DEVOURED this book. i read it in one sitting and could not put it down. it was sweet, emotional, funny, and steamy. Callahan and Sutton had such wonderful chemistry, witty banter, and an openness that was nice to see. it took them a while to get to their relationship, but seeing them form a real connection was worth the wait. I haven’t read such a good slow burn in a while. Most books will have the characters together no later than halfway through the book, but i was getting closer and closer to the finish line with this one and wondering when it would come.
third act breakups are usually a big ding in my ratings, but i honestly didn’t really mind this one. I wish i didn’t have to say goodbye to these characters, i know I’ll miss them.
