The Accident by C.L. Taylor
3.0
The Accident takes place in the UK, around the early 2010s, and centres around Susan, whose daughter, Charlotte, is currently in a coma after being hit by a bus. Although it was believed to be an accident, Susan uncovers something in Charlotte’s diary that leads her to believe otherwise.
I actually found this book on the train, through a “Books on the Rail” initiative, and took the book home with me. It was an easy read, and I finished it in a little over a day. In addition, it was a gripping psychological thriller, which made it easier to finish. I felt that some parts were predictable, however it was interesting enough for me to finish. I’d recommend this book to people who enjoy psychological thrillers, particularly those that are easy to read.
