This book was an absolutely outstanding sequel to One Dark Window. I feel like both books really stand on their own, and were both amazing.
I was wary going in with the added POVs, I'm not usually a fan when the POVs change from single to multiple in a series HOWEVER it worked soooo well in this book! It added so much to the story.
I really loved Ione in this one. And I feel I need to offer her an apology. I judged her way too quickly and harshly in ODW. I was heartbroken over what she had been through.
Elm & Ravyn. I adored both our leading men. I think I adore Ravyn just a tad more.
But as always the Nightmare remains my favourite character of the duology. His story was amazing. And his bond with Elspeth was just so beautiful.

This story was full of action, a lot more than book 1. There were twists and we got to see more magic which I loved. It was just an amazing book.
I cannot pick a favourite between the two books, I loved them both. They both had different vibes and feelings to them.
