This book was wonderful and weird. It's essentially a story of two rival agents in a time war who eventually fall in love. This book is half traditional storytelling and half letters. It is a weird experience because you are just kind of throw into the story without a lot of explanation so it's rather confusing beyond the basic premise, but it starts to slowly make more sense. The writing itself is lovely, lyrical, and poetic - rich with descriptions and metaphors. The further along you get, the more gripping the romeo and juliet style relationship gets. I liked this and even if it was confusing sometimes, it was really beautiful. Definitely not for everyone though.
