I love this series so much, Kiersten White is an incredibly talented author and i’m obsessed with the lush worldbuilding of Camelot. The plot is twisty and interesting, but i’m honestly just as interested in the mundanity of Camelot life and the interpersonal relationships (which may be an unpopular opinion). Speaking of relationships, her 2/3? potential lovers is wild, but i’m here for the drama. I am very solidly an Arthur supporter, he is very much pookie bear. Honestly, though, I’m hoping we follow the original lore for a Lancelot relationship, because wlw Guinevere/Lancelot would be everything to me, and after that ending I am (somewhat delusionally?) believing in their tragic gay love story 💔. I probably liked the first book better than this one, but overall an amazing book and series as a whole so far that I would definitely recommend.
