I’m legitimately sad that I finished this. My heart is still pounding after finishing it as I write this. This is the best sequel I’ve read. It had just as much depth, momentum, and electricity as the first book, if not more. I genuinely cared about all of the characters, including the antagonist. They were well-written and depths of both old and new ones were explored without slowing the plot down. I loved it and I really hope there’s a third on the horizon.
