The start of this instantly reeled me in. Then the pacing and events for several subsequent chapters didn’t quite fit the intro.
But, the last 30% was very “clutch my pearls” and on a sleepless night, I was led to finish it at 3:30 a.m. My husband woke up and said, “Wow, your book is that good?”
That said, I do have to say there were several missing pieces for me in the character building and plot. Some things just didn’t add up!
But the story was engaging and memorable. The pages played out as lovely scenes in my head. This would make a great tv series.
