Good short story that introduces Cruz and Elliott who are both related to the next two MCs in the coming book.

It's a quick story so therefore the characters don't spend a lot of time getting to know each other. They do talk more than others have in similar style books but they get together pretty quickly.  I do find it a bit frustrating when a couple first meet and the one guy can tell exactly what the other wants just by looking in his eyes, please.
