Rebel Soul by L.K. Farlow

5.0

I love when characters from one book, morph into secondary characters in another, it makes it feel like family. And Ms. Farlow is a master. Following on, but a total standalone, from Rebel Heart, West and Stacia get their story. Weston Larson comes from money, a lot of old money. But with it come certain expectations from his father and mother, the same father and mother who were never parents to him. When his grandfather dies, he leaves West his Grandma Mimi's house and enough money to tell his parents where to go; the one condition is that he produces an heir within a year. At 24 West is in no place to get married or have a child, but he wants the house that belonged to his grandmother. Stacia Kellan's best friend is married to West's best friend, so they know each other well but have vowed for the sake of the friend group that nothing can ever happen between them. That is until Stacia's world falls apart, leaving her broke, homeless and fighting for her family. When West steps in with an offer to help, Stacia's immediate reaction is to turn him down - but with no other options, she is forced to accept. What started as attraction, morphs into so much more and it might just be that they can both save each other. Love this story.❤️
