A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Wow. Was not expecting this turn of events. SPOILERS AHEAD.
While the characters didn't move very far in terms of geography, I adored the relationship building between Poppy andHawke Casteel (though most of the book I was just yelling for them to confront each other with their true feelings instead of trying to hide it!), Kieran is really growing on me with his bored sass, and I'm just glad to get to see the Atlantians and wolven from their side of the borders (so to speak). Definitely did not see that ending coming, though, and I'm thoroughly intrigued with where Poppy's fate takes her.
P.S. Thanks for all the spice.
