An interesting look at the state of women in the early 1900's. The plot moved quickly and got to the point early. Background information was parceled out as needed with flashback chapters that filled in some of the motivations for the characters in present day. I enjoy historical fiction and this did not disappoint. It was not a great book, but a good read and I enjoyed knowing that this was based on actual events and people.
