Finally got around to reading this for the first time ever. And it was definitely JUST AS WEIRD as I remember the Disney movie being (if not weirder). I probably would have enjoyed the fantasy aspect of this if I read it for the first time when I was younger. It was nice to read the original after being let down by Heartless a few months back. It was interesting to see how even minor details from Heartless tied back into this classic.
