[originally read in high school] this was another book that felt like looking in a mirror. i related so much to the main character's plight: mental health struggles, going to a difficult high school, no friends, finding solace in the struggles of others, and desperately searching for the will to live. an inspiring, but tragic, story that i recommend to everyone who has ever felt like they've finally hit rock bottom and need some light.
Graphic: Mental illness, Suicidal thoughts, Forced institutionalization, and Suicide attempt
Moderate: Ableism, Addiction, Body shaming, Death, Drug use, Eating disorder, Grief, and Dysphoria
