My Kind of Forever by Heidi McLaughlin
4.0
I always get a little giddy when my favorite authors write more books in my favorite series'. I think the series could have ended with Finding My Way, but I'm glad we got another glimpse into the lives of some of my favorite characters of all time. This is not a standalone!
Liam, Harrison and Jimmy miss making music and they go back to LA to help the owner of the club that gave Liam his shot. Liam leaves Josie and Noah and even though they understand, it's hard being without him. Josie struggles with jealousy and not believing what she reads or sees. Liam is trying to find the happy medium between being Liam Page and Liam Westbury. He loves making music and touring, but he refuses to lose his family again. The guys have a big decision to make. Stay in Beaumont with their families or go back to LA and make music. Will Liam lose his band because he chooses his wife and son? Can Josie compromise and learn to live with the rumors? Overall, the book is beautifully written as all Heidi's books are, and I loved seeing everyone again. Especially Harrison :). I was more annoyed and angry at Liam and Josie, but glad that the fans got what they've been asking for. More Beaumont.
"You're my life, Jojo. You're the only girl I've ever loved.
He's standing there while Harrison and Jimmy filter around him, letting me drink him in, allowing me to burn him into my memory for later.
"God, your husband is hot."
"I know."
