This book was alright, not the best book I've ever read but not the worst. I enjoy demon and pirate books and I think that the combination of the two was neat. I liked the premise of this book but the writing kind of fell flat for me. I'm not sure what it was but I just couldn't really get into it? I wasn't particularly attached to any of the characters. So yeah, it wasn't a bad book but it just wasn't for me for some reason.
