This is just what I needed to believe in love again. My first Emily Henry book and it's a banger. The plot is a little unrealistic but not over the top. There's a fake dating situation but I actually think that it most the most natural way to implement the trope I have ever seen. It's just a catalysis and then the characters morphe and begin their own original journey outside the trope.

I loved both Miles and Daphne equally.

Daphne being an organized, strict not adventure seeker turning into her hidden impulsive traits when she is with Miles was endearing and relatable. And I love how when she made an irrational decision concerning him she TALKED TO HIM to explain herself and offer to apologize and do anything in her power to fix things but then Miles was such a chill guy and he was like don't worry so she starts to relax and open herself up.

Also, I loved how they trusted each other and talked about their lives and supported each other and were friends first and foremost. They really care about each other feelings and didn't wanted to rush their relationship.

And also! lol I loved how they were very different but not in an extreme way so as to make you question how they were together in the first place. They encouraged each other to try new things and were there to try them together.

And most most most importantly. I loved how seamlessly their relationship developed. I was on board with their romance and friendship every step of the way and that is one of the most important things for me in a romance.

It was a little (only a little) long so that's why i took half a star but overall, a banger.
