The first fourth of the book was rather slow-going, which in part had to do with me being in a reading-slump. I really liked a lot of elements in this book, like Ian showing signs of PTSD and the raptors' abnormal and vicious behaviour. I also like that not every character got out alive and the nemeses got their due once again...
