Started reading this very randomly, as it was one of the few books in my Air BnB in Antigua. Based on reviews it seemed kind of polarizing so I gave it a shot. The book is sort of a modern riff on Less Than Zero and isn’t far off albeit not nearly as good. I didn’t finish and after vacation I kinda forgot about it until recently and decided to finish it as an ebook. It’s a quick and easy read. No memorable prose to speak of, but it is fast paced and has a lot of style especially for being written by someone in high school. Worth a read if you enjoy books about disaffected youth and aren’t looking to have your mind blown, but certainly not essential.
