I recommend this book if you like:
-slow burn romance
-friendship
-characters with demons from the past

This story wasn’t for me. The story didn’t really go anywhere and there was a lot of repeated scenes. I think I struggled to get into it as it isn’t written in first person. There is an intriguing mystery around Red at the beginning, but the story didn’t develop in an engaging way for me.

I couldn’t relate to the characters feelings, emotions and actions and I feel like that this played a huge part in my lack of interest in the story. It was filled with self-destructive behaviour and there is very little joy to be found in this book.

I’m satisfied with the ending although I feel that any romance side of things should have happened earlier in the book.
