A Season for Hope by Tammy L. Grace
4.0
All alone on a beautiful snowy back road Hope and her young son, Jake, find themselves stranded in Silver Falls when their car breaks down. From the moment she meets the tow truck driver and on through her story, Hope is treated with respect, generosity, and as "one of their own" by the towns people.
The duo finds refuge is a bed & breakfast where she is given a part-time job. Hope proves herself as a hard worker, organized, friendly, employee, (new) friend, and a caring mother. One of the B & B owners sons, Drew, begins to think Hope is hiding something (who among us isn't??). A the holidays approach, Drew tries to find out her secret. When he does, he makes her an offer that just may make her whole world collapse. Or could it set her free?
This is a charming novelette full of care, love, acceptance, and how the kindness of strangers can mean the world to you.
