The emotions hit hard yet again in this conclusion to Silas and Ben's story. The journey is unpredictable, full of heart, but also chockful of heartache. Nik Knight really yanks on those heartstrings once again here. All that said, I really enjoyed this one just as much as the first two installments. Nik's writing is immersive and full of emotion. The story and its characters are believable. Silas and Ben are characters that could easily exist in the real world. The ending is unexpected, but, in the end, it felt right for the journey these characters went on and was satisfying, in my opinion, when it was all said and done. I definitely recommend this one, but go into it only if you're in the right headspace for the heavy emotions and, as always, be aware of any triggers before jumping in. This is intense, but it is so worth the read. I'm so glad I had the chance to read it.
