At almost 40% of the way into this book, I realized I'd read it before. It reminded me of something from Wattpad at first. I don't know if this story was on there originally before it was published or if it was from my very early Kindle Unlimited days. I'm really not sure. This has dumbfounded me.
As I read the story, more and more came back to me.

I really liked the story for the most part. Some of it was pretty cringey. It was entertaining and kept me engaged. Felt like, 'The many faces of Hook.'

That ending with John (the brother) was a little weird. Evoked the same feeling I got the first time. Eck.
