This book is proof that enemies to lovers will always sell despite having basically zero plot. The two main characters flip between walking about and getting into fights, flirting and making out only to say 'omg no I'm meant to hate them, I won't fold again'. Then just repeat that multiple times and you've got a 'story'. Don't get me wrong, I eat up an enemies to lovers and I do love Kai (Pae way less so), but that is all this book has going for it.

The writing has improved slightly, if you could say going from GCSE writing to A-Level is any improvement at all. It's still incredibly cringe at times, lacks any actual good plots (Kitt maybe, but he just sits in his room half the time being sad) and is just not really that good. But will I be reading the final book and watching the TV series? Of course.
