I haven't seen any updates from Tome Topple in a while, so I figured I'd create an unofficial challenge. 

The goal of Tome Topple is to tackle those massive (500+ page) books that you have been meaning to read, but might find intimidating due to their sheer volume.
The original readathon encourages you to give these books a go even if you can't finish them, so I've also marked each prompt aside from the first one as a bonus prompt.
