I was interested at the beginning but as the story went on, I couldn't find myself liking the characters and I found it incredibly boring and dragged on. The only part I enjoyed was the last 20 pages but I had to force myself to keep picking up the book to finish it.

It's such a pity I couldn't give this book more stars but unlike it's predecessor, it just wasn't exciting enough. Quite frankly, it was a bit uninteresting and even though I only finished it yesterday, I've already forgotten it. Good premise, wrong execution. Hopefully the third installment will be better.

the beginning wasn't great, I don't like when books talk about what happened in the book before it as though the reader didn't read it but the second half of the book was good. I love dante and colomba 🥺

I didn't enjoy it quite as much as 'Kill the Father' and I must admit I didn't follow all the complicated threads, but it was still a good thriller. The two main characters make an unusual but empathetic and original duo. It seems a bit strange that in the story 'Snapchat' is used as a secure message app when so many teenagers use it today but maybe something has been lost in the translation.
