Touching way to wrap the final story of Bill Hodges. Nearly lost me in the middle with all the supernatural stuff but I was hooked again as the story was coming to a close.

More supernatural than the first two - kind of reminded me of a horror movie sequel in that it seemed to take some quite daring moves in the villain’s scheme

A great ending to a great trilogy. There were bits in this that I found comically stupid but King himself poked fun at his own naming conventions so, not sure what to think about that lmao. I dig the supernatural stuff, it was teased in the last book so it didn't come out of nowhere, and I thought the set up was really interesting. Looking forward to the rest of the Holly books... after a bit of a King break. :P

This was a strange read for me. I felt myself losing steam at many chapters
relating to telekinesis and honestly just the whole plot line of brady going into people’s minds
however I loved getting to read more about Holly and Bill’s friendship and business with one another. Holly is such a great character throughout these books.

RIP Hodges
😭

This was a tidy, if suicide-heavy, end to the Hodges (and Brady) trilogy. I wish the telekinesis aspect had been explored a little more... Like... He could do it with the devices but also without them? There also weren't as many cop/crime details, which is fine w me honestly, but I guess having read The Outsider first, I was hoping for some exploration of how they figured out whodunnit. Not Bill Hodges' problem, I guess he was more focused on revenge 😂

Oh well, looking forward to moving on to more of Holly's adventures!
