The humor that I tend to enjoy from Stevie wad limited, but the story was good- part of the Diary missing aspect meant that really the "whodunnit" was hard to tell until the last minute.

I love these characters so much and I wish this series would never end

The premise of this book was really interesting to me - and I really liked the summer camp setting. Although it did keep me interested for the majority of it, it kind of lost me at the end - and I wasn’t that into the overall ending or conclusion. That being said I have come to like David more in this book than some of the others, now that
him and Stevie are officially together,
he’s been a lot more likeable and less unbearable

But yeah in general I feel like this book had potential but could have been more consistently fleshed out in parts?

3.5 to a 4, somewhere in that range. I enjoyed it, but I feel like I missed the big turning point in the book. Everything came out of left field to me.

Maybe 3.75?

I love these books and characters and could read 20 books about them, but this mystery was def much less interesting and fleshed out than the first lol I'm wondering if all the next books will be more one-and-done spinoffs ? But Maureen Johnson is great and I'll keep reading her forever
