I liked this book but I would have liked it of shaq went into more details about his other experiences such as leading the Boston symphony. Nevertheless I felt shaq was very real and true in this book.

I found this book to have some humourous parts which gave it a lightness that kept me listening. I found it interesting to learn more about Shaq's upbringing, his passion for giving back and his relationships with teammates, managers and coaches throughout his basketball career.

While not much of a Shaq fan during most of his career I've kind of come around on him and found this book about his life pretty interesting. Listened to the audio version which was performed by Dion Graham who really had Shaq's cadence and tone down perfectly.

Guilty pleasure reading. I learned a few things, saw deeper into the social dynamics behind the teams he played on, laughed a few times, and I'm glad I read this. Shaq was a phenomenal player and a great interview, and I look forward to him mixing it up with Barkley on TNT this season. This book doesn't go deep, dishes very little dirt, and sidesteps the Delonte West/LeBron's mom story. It's not as funny as Shaq Talks Back. If you like basketball and Shaq, though, you'll enjoy this.

Shaq is one of the biggest guys in the NBA. He's also been injury prone. But he has been a fighting force on some of the best teams out there. He shares details from his days with the Magic, Lakers, Celtics, Suns, Cavs and Heat. He's played with the greats, been coached by some of the best and is telling all in this book.

Look, this isn't the most well-written memoir on the shelves. But Shaq's had a really interesting, storied career, and he has a really endearing voice. It's a quick read, and you really feel like you get inside the head of one of the good guys in the NBA.
