4.5⭐️ When I saw something that said this book was for fans of Daisy Jones and Yellowjackets, I knew I had to read it. I really enjoyed this book, even though there were points where it seemed to drag on a little. It was such an easy read! Having worked in the music industry for 13 years, I think it really captured what fame can do to some people well. Just when I was trying to figure out how it was going to end, because there were a lot of pages left and it felt like we were going in circles, part 2 hits and the shoe drops. Woah!

Loved this! I need more books like this! A book that lets you see from a less than great persons view is always fun!

3.5 stars! Fun and I enjoyed the second part way more than the first part, though I do think that the final showdown was weak and could have been so much stronger.

Talk about the bad side of fame! I have loved Hannah Mary McKinnon since The Neighbors and she hasn’t let me down yet!

This was an awesome thriller perfect for all fans of the genre but especially for fans of Daisy Jones and the Six!

One by one members of a band called The Bittersweet go missing. This was a story of how far some will go to get to the top. It was diabolical, unnerving, intense, and it kept me awake because I just had to finish it. I LOVED it!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this ARC!

I read this book as part of my book club. I did not want to put it down. Much of it was predictable, but there were a few twists and turns in there. At the beginning there was a little too much back and forth from present to past for my liking, but overall I enjoyed the book.

I couldn’t get enough of this delicious thriller. A bit of a locked room (but not too much which was fine by me), dual timelines, unreliable narrator, mixed media, and centered around a band rising in fame this book had it all.

One thing I loved most about this book is that it didn’t end where I would’ve expected it to. So often books give a big reveal in the final pages and were left jaw dropped and asking but what happens next? Only One Survives answered that exact question and I freaking loved it.

The music aspect of this book was a bonus for me. I haven’t read a ton of books centered around a band and I liked the dynamics, details on the rise to fame, and the struggles.

Both Madison and Vienna were incredibly interesting, dynamic, and complex characters. I loved their depth, back stories, and family dynamics. I had no idea what I could believe and what I couldn’t and I was happy to enjoy the ride!

I couldn’t put this book down. I loved that it kept surprising me and that I didn’t really know where it was going. It was unique, fun, and superbly entertaining. I absolutely recommend!

Thank you to Thriller Book Lover Promotions and MIRA for the copy.
