A quick read & quintessentially Australian. I don’t normally get around to Aussie reads but this one reminds me I should. It’s comforting to hop into a book and find characters so culturally familiar; the book wasn’t written to stand out as mega Aussie or anything, it’s just the little things here and there that piece it together as an Aussie experience.

We don’t get to spend much time with the characters given the short 85 pages the book runs but it’s enough time to get to know and care for them and be interested in the story of how they all intertwine, as witnessed through their projection into the gogglebox.
