Wick & Tequila
So good! I love the Kings of Retribution MC - both the Montana and Louisiana chapters. Wick and Tequila are both strong, stubborn, independent and loyal. They are two halves of a whole and I totally love their story. Sweet, very hot, so much love, action-packed. Just so darn good! ❤️

4.4 stars.
This was so good.
Tequila is an absolute badass, with a sassy mouth and sharp aim.
My favorite kind of FMC.
She’s been waiting on Wick to get his shit together for the better part of 2 decades, and isn’t afraid to show him exactly how she feels about it.
Wick is hot and gruff, but doesn’t try to suppress Tequila’s fight.
This book is sexy, and tense, and the danger is well written and everything turns out perfectly.
I loved it.
I’m so glad I came back to this series and tried again.
I can not wait to see who the fuck gets Nova to drop his harem.
I hope she gives him absolute hell before giving in.

Can I start by simply saying... wow!? Because Wick, the second book in The Kings of Retribution MC, Louisiana Chapter, took me for a serious ride. The impeccably constructed story is an emotional journey where family and love shine through. Now, don't get me wrong, this is an MC, action-packed book from beginning to end.
Vayda Miller, aka Tequila, is by far my favorite heroine ever written by the talented pens of sisters Crystal Daniels and Sandy Alvarez. She is one badass, sassy, no-one-can-stop-me ex-servicewoman who knows how to carry herself in a men's world without ever compromising who she is. She lives her life to the max every day, always trying to do good for others and without almost no regrets. Well... except she has always been in love with Damien "Wick" Dawson, the VP of The Kings and her brother's best friend.
Wick has always seen her as the best woman on earth. He would do anything for her. And I really mean anything! Except he lets his past, guilt, and fears to be between them. They have one of the most explosive chemistry I've ever read about. Action and danger fuel their passion. The book is filled with sexy and swoony moments, but in the most unpredictable and unconventional way (read their story, and you'll understand). They are a strong couple, evenly matched, and yet they complement each other.
Wick gives more insight into the dealings of The Kings' Louisiana chapter. Also, there are cameos by beloved characters (I'm purposely not giving details because I don't want to spoil the surprise). It also touches on real issues in such a way that doesn't feel force nor given. I'll keep saying this: Sandy and Crystal's stories feel real, and Wick is no exception.
With each book they have written, I'm in awe of how familiar The Kings feels, and yet, each story is different. They constantly surprise me with the plot because there is no way to predict how it unfolds. And the story is crafted beautifully. They don't fall into gimmicks and formulas, and, in a market where thousands of books are put out there each day, that's simply amazing and special. It is a testament to how talented they are.

Vadya or Tequila is an amazing character! She was a great balance of strong and independent and still human with insecurities and flaws. I loved her story with Malik or Wick. Another great book in this series.

Pretty good. It did feel a little quick but I liked that Vayda was a solider and so she just felt a little stronger and wasn't really a damsel in distress...

<spiler> In this book you follow Wick and Vayda aka Tequila (Wick childhood best friends little sister). In the beginning Tequila gets captured by the enemy on a mission with the rest of her team. In the end the MC come in the rescue her and her they meet again after Wick tried to avoid her and his feelings.
The past haunts him with the dead of his best friend, but with the help of Tequila and their love, does he find some kind of peace.
Love that the MC sees that Tequila is more than capable to handle herself and protect the people she loves. Therefor she is able to be part of rescue missions and not at home with the rest of the woman.
Wick loves this about here and never tries to tame her or anything.
In the end he and Tequila get the blessing for their wedding from her late brother and his best friend by a letter he kept safe all those years. (less)
