Maybe because this was a short novel as opposed to her longer ones, the climax had to be reached sooner, but I feel that the series has turned more toward carnal necessity and farther away from the love and connections that I got from previous books. It's a little disappointing, but it's not a series I will quit on so easily, seeing as I've already gotten this far

This is new for the series....a graphic novel type story. Although I appreciated the story itself and the implications it has on potential couplings in the future, I don't think I really like this style of telling it. I felt like a lot was missing from this story that are told in the others, especially the emotional connection that develops between lifemates.

I wanted to know more from both characters, especially Juliette because of what she is (was?). Don't want to spoil anything, but it is a good story, and a VERY quick read, took me less than an hour. A nice little change of pace to the other books.

I've read this once before and I really wish that some books were made until graphic novels like this one. I enjoy reading these and looking at the art of them.

I read a few of these books a long time ago and remember loving them, so I was excited to get this graphic novel. Apparently it’s just not my cup of tea anymore. I loved the graphic novel part, but the story was underwhelming and I’m so upset at myself for not enjoying it.
