This series is fantastic with literally the best girl character of all time as well as one of the best character arcs EVER. Read this series. DO IT!

I love this author's writing style; the tongue-in-cheek jokes and character development in his works. I'll enjoy recommending this particular series!

I LOVE the character of Bartimaeus but I feel like the books have some pacing issues and most of the other characters are one dimensional.

This book finished ooff the Bartimaeus Series perfectly, and unlike most books did not get boring or repetitive in the last couple chapters, instead staying true to his classic humor-filled theme. Bartimaeus, Kitty, and Nathanial all play starring roles in this, with a plot twist at the end that will leave you both satisfied and stunned. All in all, this is one of the best fantasy books you can read, maybe even rivaling Harry Potter.(almost)

To be fair the whole series was well written. Worldbuilding, dialogue, and characters were well written (if not compelling people or places to return to). I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to reinforce the idea that prejudice is wrong and we are better off recognizing that all people, even those we "demonize" are people.
