Love the stories so much :)
Its about little girl named Verity, who has an old cat named Marble... and as the title said *The Cat Mummy.. after Marble died of his old age... she wanted to make Marble becomes a cat mummy.. and Marble would still look alive in the family's room... she loves Marble so much....
But what she did is wrong... :)
Love it !

A short yet quite harrowing book that consists of a girl mummifying her dead cat due to death being a taboo subject in the family, how she got away with it for so long will forever be a mystery.

I loved Jacqueline Wilson's books as a kids!! I used to go to the library every weekend to get some and I'd read them over and over before having to take them back.

And another one ticked off the list!
I think this is one of my favourite books by Jacqueline Wilson and is another display of her talent in taking complex emotions and making them understandable for younger readers.
I think a lot of authors feel like children can’t take these emotions and can’t understand how these emotions can affect them, but as always, Wilson manages to break down the events and emotions surrounding death, but also how adults can impact their children in ways that they might not fully appreciate.

I reread this because I wanted something quick and easy and this was perfect for that. It hit just the same as it did when I was younger because it’s so beautifully simple. I’m not gonna rate it cuz I wouldn’t really know how to but it was really good.
