This was a fun tale! I wish that some of the characters were a bit less trope-ish, but I enjoyed the uniqueness of the world building.

I could have done without “She sat voluptuously” and the scrappy, strong and independent“female mechanic” and the exaggerated clumsiness of a pre-makeover princess diaries protagonist.

However, I did enjoy the journey.

i enjoyed the start of this and liked the main character and world-building, but wasn't invested enough to re-up my loan when it expired. possibly would have gotten more out of it if other lead had been anything other than a stoic man. in short, everything can be improved by lesbians and i think, for me, having the love interest be another girl would have improved this book

I liked the world building- and I know that there are four books but if it takes 4 books for some romance I’m not gonna be too happy
