Song: Pink in the Night by Mitski

Adam Silvera novels always make great audiobooks because of the way he writes dialogue. The slang that can, at times, come off as cringe on paper flows well when spoken. I loved the romance, the classic invisible string style that distinguishes Silvera, and the tragically beautiful vibe of the series.
Not particularly life-changing, but still great escapist romance. The constant perspective shifting kept me as a reader interested. Multiple perspectives always suit Silvera well.

I enjoyed the first book (They Both Die At The End) a lot but this one seemed thin and formulaic. The characters were not interesting enough to invest in or really to understand why they were invested in each other.

Again, adored the background characters who mixed up with the main story. Gloria deserves so much more. As for little paz. The end was shocking. Absolutely enjoyed reading the book. As far as it was possible. 😅🙆

I liked the love story in this book more that the first book. Idk why but it felt more heartbreaking knowing only one would survive, forced to live without the other. The book taking place on the first ever "end-day" was a really interesting choice. The pandemonium and panic on the fist end-day is something I didn't think of when reading the first book, but is very realistic.
This book still did have the "filler" the first book did but it wasn't as bad. It all tied in better to the main story a lot better. I can't wait until the next book(s) come out.
