Thoroughly Enjoyed!

I love this story about Millie, Jackson and Kayla. Such a sweet read and can’t wait to read the other 2 books in the series (up next)!

Absolutely loved this book. A sweet romance that hits you right in the feels. It had me engrossed from that very first page. This is an amazing story. I couldn't put it down. Overall I enjoyed this one.

PINCH OF SALT is the first book I've read by Bethany Lopez. Interesting plot, great intro to the series/characters, and fast-paced.

A fast paced read. It's very sweet with steamy moments. A single dad and of course trying to win over the daughter who still held onto the hope that her mother would return. It's a little sad and Millie is so understanding. There's also side drama and fun friends. I enjoyed the book!

Feel good, emotional read

I gave this book 5 stars mainly because it had me as a blubbering wreck. This is a feel good story, where good people get their happy ending. There were some poignant themes throughout the book that touched on my own childhood and a book that can have you crying through half of it, is definitely worth a read.

A Pinch of Salt is the first book I have read by Bethany Lopez, and I completely loved it. This book was so heartwarming, sweet and made your toes curl. I loved the three sisters, and their teasing. My favorite character would def be Jackson, he was so sweet and wore his heart on his sleeve. My heart broke for him with what he had gone through. A Pinch of salt made me swoon and fall in love with the characters, I can't wait to see what Bethany Lopez has in store for us next in this series.

It didn't have any substance and all characters felt like mannequins. I was so excited because I love books where one of the main characters is in the food industry, but this one didn't catch my attention.

A Pinch of Salt (Three Sisters Catering) by Bethany Lopez
Bethany Lopez sweetened the pot. A Pinch of Salt, should be renamed A Dash of Sugar. Not only does she serve up some spicy romance, she gives readers a taste of a father's love. Written between the lines is a tablespoon of sage advice and all of this is delivered with a teaspoon of love. Caring can be as simple as lending a kind ear or helping out a friend or taking a chance by risking it all and opening up one's heart again. Reasonable advice hidden in a tasty little package.

A love story that has a few hurdles to overcome that are so realistic the author did an amazing job. Single parents definitely have it hard when trying to move on and yet take their child’s feelings into consideration as well. I loved this book and will definitely be listening to the next!

This was a book club pick and it's the only reason I finished it. My biggest issue is with the male's point of view, he sounds like a teenage giddy girl. It's rather off-putting and makes me cheer on his estranged wife. The rest of the book is just, blah blah blah blah.

There's really no story, and as much as I loved the idea of sisters going into business together, the uneven writing, no conflict, and lack of character development left me just, well, blah about the whole book.

It was a fast read, about 45 minutes, as most of the story can just be flipped through and you won't miss a thing. Last, and only, book in the series I'll read.
