A tense thriller. It kept me gripped initially, however, towards the end, I couldn’t wait for it to end!

This was my first K.L Slater book and I thought it was very good. Suspenseful with good twists throughout. I would read more from this author.

Recently started reading K.L slater books and I’ve been really enjoying it. I couldn’t put this book down and the twists caught me off guard. Bit of a slow burner but worth the read.

okay book

This book had a bit of a slow start, but eventually got more interesting. I found it fairly predictable which is why I rated it three stars

Wow! This was a twisty, cleverly written mystery that kept me guessing until the very end. I had so many theories when I was reading this but I was way off and the reveals towards the end really shocked me. I usually guess twists in books but I didn’t guess the twists in this story, so that really impressed me.

I loved the writing style and all of the characters were really interesting and it was clever how their stories all fit together. It was hard to work out who was good and who was bad and it really was twist after twist. This was my second book by this author and I’m really impressed! I can’t wait to read more by this author in this future.
Thank you so much to Netgalley and Bookouture for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was such a clever book, and I enjoyed all the twists and turns throughout the story. The antagonists were truly awful (that’s a good thing) - it made the book hard to put down because I needed to see what would happen! Definitely recommend this one.
