I am most definitely a fan of the Shaken Dirty guys and their books! I have been looking forward to this book since Crash Into Me and it definitely didn't disappoint.
Quinn is just divine. Seriously. To begin with, he sounds gorgeous. He's a tattooed, ripped, rock star sex god...need I say more?! Seriously though, there's a whole lot of depth to this rocker that makes him so irresistible. When he was younger he was a talented classical pianist, and now he's part of a wildly popular rock band called Shaken Dirty, playing the keyboards. I loved Quinn's obvious passion for music.
Now Quinn had a pretty rough childhood, and it left its marks. He doesn't think he's good enough for anyone, particularly for Elise. He doesn't see what an incredible man he is, and he pushes everyone away except for his bandmates.
Elise had an equally rough childhood, but in different ways to Quinn. She developed a calm, collected exterior that hid all of her vulnerability. After a car accident robs her of the only things in her life that kept her afloat, she's left to pick up the pieces of her shattered life. For some reason, I was worried that Elise would be kind of bitchy but she's far from it. She can be a little awkward and tries to keep herself on the fringes, but Quinn doesn't let that happen. She's very endearing and you have no choice but to urge her to find some happiness (Quinn) and grab it (him) and never let go.
I loved Quinn and Elise together, they are a great book couple! At first Elise resents the fact that Quinn brings out her vulnerabilities and she doesn't trust him, but it's clear that the attraction between them isn't going to let her keep her shields up. I also loved the way Elise and Quinn connect through music. The passion they have for each other and for the music is a tangible and electric feeling. The pranks they play on each other are brilliant and add the perfect amount of humour to the story. I always looked forward to how they would one up each other.
Also, that sexual chemistry between them! Hot damn! I felt the heat coming from my kindle, and from my wildly blushing cheeks, during the sex scenes. It was like ten years of pent up desire erupted into an inferno on the page, and it worked so, so well.
I loved this book. And I want the next one. Now. It has the perfect blend of humour, sexiness, intense love and pain, whilst packing a heavy emotional punch.
All of the Shaken Dirty guys are in this book, and I really enjoy seeing them interact with each other because they're basically brothers. I can't wait to see what the rest of the series will bring for the other members of the band, and which women can tame these wild and sexy rockers! If they're as awesome as the first two books in the series, I will be very happy.

I thoroughly enjoyed Drive Me Crazy! Unlike the other Brazen title I read that released recently, this one had quite a good and unique plot and it was one that really interested me. It also involved a "kidnapping" of sorts... I'm sensing a theme here. While this book is part of a standalone series, I didn't read the first book and didn't feel lost. I still plan to go back and read the first book, Crash Into Me, because I want to know what I missed. Plus, if Ryder, the male lead in that book, is anywhere near as hot as his bandmate Quinn, I'll be in love. Or lust. Or something.
I liked both Quinn and Elise a lot. They had a fun history and a great banter, as well as a ton of chemistry. The sexual tension between them was strong. They had some steamy scenes, but they had a connection outside of the bedroom as well. He was a great source of support for her in an incredibly difficult time in her life. The pranks they played on each other? Fantastic. I really liked them together.
I couldn't put this book down once I picked it up. I love rocker romances and this one was no exception. Quinn was smoking hot and I couldn't get enough of him. This was a quick and sexy read with a plot that was anything but shallow. I can't recommend this one highly enough.

O.M.G!
I like a lot of books. I’m not gonna lie but this has to be one of my all time favorites. Quinn and Elise are the best. They had me at Goldfish and Twinkies!

Drive Me Crazy, the second book in Tracy Wolff’s Shaken Dirty Series, was a fabulous read that has quickly made me a card carrying member of the Shaken Dirty Fan Club! I love this band, I love every single character (well, except for Micah who is in serious need of a swift knee to the balls) and I love the decadent and exciting world the author has created for this series.
Ten years ago Quinn Bradford, keyboardist for the band, walked away from Elise, the only girl that he ever loved, to protect her. He wanted her to be happy, to feel secure and not to live in fear - a life that he didn’t think he could provide. Now, after a life altering accident, Elise is back in his life and he isn’t sure if he can let her go again.
Elise McKinney is completely and totally alone. Waking up in the hospital after a car accident, she is forced to realize that her life has been irrevocably changed due to the injuries that she sustained. She is lost, she is devastated and she feels completely isolated...until Quinn walks through the door. She doesn’t want to trust in him again, but she can’t deny the feelings that he evokes in her once again.
I positively adored these two characters. Both, Quinn and Elise are very driven by their love for music - it is at the core of who they are as people. That love and desire were never more apparent than the piano scene - my favorite of the book. Through love, music and each other, they each find solace and refuge. Quinn was a brute force that completely enveloped Elise with his love, strength, admiration, protection and unwavering support. He was intune to her every need, her every want and her every desire, and without fail, provided all of those things to her. The love and adoration that poured out of him, into her, was breathtaking! Elise was such a fiercely strong survivor. Every time life knocked her down, and there were many, she got right back up and proved time and again, that nothing could break her. But after the accident, she had grown weary, not sure if she had the strength to get back up again. With Quinn’s help, she was able to get back up. With his love, she was able to stand taller than she ever had before.
While I really enjoyed Quinn & Elise’s story in Drive Me Crazy, the first book, Crash Into Me, is still my favorite. The other band members - Ryder, Jared and Micah - do make appearances, but I would have liked more page time for them. I missed, and needed more of, the camaraderie and interaction between the band members.
With each installment of this series, I fall a little more in love/lust with Shaken Dirty and Tracy Wolff. Her writing is exceptional, her stories are authentic and well written, and her characters are delectable and addictive. If you love rock star romances, then this book, and series, is a must read! Trust me, once you read these, you’ll be joining the Shaken Dirty Fan Club too!

In looking for another book on my Kindle, I found this one and decided to read it. It became clear there was already a matched pair, so once I was done, I looked up #1 and it turned out I had that one, too. Doh! Anyhoo… this was a very sweet story of rekindled love. I totally get why Elise was so mistrusting of Quinn’s intentions, and their pranks against each other were awesome! But ultimately it was a very sweet story with some sexy moments.

Their little pranks had me giggling pretty good--I mean where did she come up with the Twinkie idea?! Brilliant!
I love musicians, and I could identify with the characters. I hope to see more of them.
There seemed to be a spot where there was just too much inner monologue going on...but other than that, solid four star read.
Will read more from this author and would recommend to others.

Elise already got her heart broken once before when she didn't hear from Quinn after he left his old life behind. Now that he's back, resisting the tattooed temptation that Quinn has become is proving to be far more difficult than she anticipated, especially since he's made it his mission to take care of her while she recuperates from the car accident that ended the life of her manager and ended her career as a concert pianist and recording artist. I was so expecting this story to be filled with angst and drama because of what happened between Elise and Quinn ten years ago and because of what both of them are facing in their musical lives--Elise no longer being able to play the piano as well as she once did and Quinn unsure of where Shaken Dirty's future will lead due to two shake-ups--but this was a surprisingly lighthearted read.
Quinn and Elise had a different dynamic from the one Ryder Montgomery and Jamison Matthews shared in the first book, Crash Into Me. Both couples have known one another for years, but Quinn and Elise have a romantic history and I liked the sneakiness that these two had to employ when it came to planning their pranks. Another thing I appreciated about this sequel was that the overall arc about the band's future never strayed too far in the background and remained an essential part of the story. I'm glad that there was a resolution met regarding bassist Micah Tarrent's future with the band and I think that the author took an interesting route, although had she gone the other way, it was have also been quite an intriguing one to watch play out. Drive Me Crazy drove me nuts...in a fantastic Shaken Dirty groupie way. Five stars. ♥
