I loved this book so much when I was a kid. I think I read it multiple times. So, I decided to listen to the audiobook to see if it still holds up. It was a great dose of nostalgia, and such a sweet story. But I do think the counselor has a few boundary issues. ☺️

It takes me down the path from my childhood. I adore this book a lot as it shows the internal conflict of one character throughout one book and how he changes to become someone who they never thought they could be and also be a likable person for everyone to trust and be friends with.

Excellent! Just finished reading to my daughter for school. A wonderful story with so much going on under the surface. Full marks.

I loved it! I genuinely cared about the characters, which is rare for me in a children's book.

I remember my fourth grade teacher reading this book to us. This is a story that all of you should read yourselves, especially future teachers. It is about how teachers are constantly passing Bradley just so they do not have to teach him again, instead of getting to the bottom of his problem. It isn't until Ms. Davis the school counselor comes around that somebody finally gives him the help that he needs.

Funny, clever, silly, heartwarming. Really great book for the late elementary age group. Thoroughly enjoyed reading it during bedtime, which is definitely not always the case with our selections.

I totally didn't cry. Call my mom and ask if you don't believe me
